Dawlish & Teignmouth 2nd April 2024

Dawlish & Teignmouth

Tuesday 2nd April

Dawlish is a traditional seaside town, with a wonderful golden sand beach on its doorstep. The town offers a range of amusements and is centred around The Lawn and Brook,
which is home to the famous black swans.

*Currently there are 8 eggs being watched over by 2 Black Swans so there
may even be Black Cygnets when you visit*

Just a few miles down the road is Dawlish Warren, a beautiful
nature reserve with a blue flag beach.

Teignmouth is a stunning coastal town with historic Georgian buildings, long sandy beaches, and fresh local food.

The town sits on the edge of the mouth of River Teign  and the South Devon coast – and is surrounded by lush Devon countryside, so you won’t find a more beautiful setting for a day out.

Teignmouth is the ideal day trip destination – with a Victorian Pier, lido, and crazy golf all within easy reach of the beaches and town centre.

Teignmouth Town beach is a long expanse of sand with the pier, arcades and promenade.

Teignmouth River Beach is full of beautiful fishing boats and has a wonderful
quaint village feel – perfect for coastal walks.

The town itself has beautiful Georgian buildings and a lovely high street
for a bit of retail therapy.
