The National Fairground Collection, Dingles

The Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre is home to the National Fairground Collection and the Fairground Heritage Trust. It is a facility unique in the UK.

There are superb displays of Fairground Art and Memorabilia, and large array of vintage rides, stalls and shows.

   Nestling in the West Devon Countryside, the Fairground Heritage Centre offers over 45,000 square feet of indoor displays and provides a unique opportunity to view

Fairground and Industrial Heritage in a beautiful rural location.

Both Working and static fairground exhibits, industrial and road steam engines,

vintage vehicles, roadsigns, and assorted vintage machinery

offer a fun and informative day out for all.   

 

  

See rides that you haven't seen since you were in your teens and

play on heritage slot machines.

The coach will leave Bristol City Centre at 9.00am  or

The coach will leave Bristol (Anchor Road) at 9.00am

or you can board earlier at your local Pick-up Point

 

    

We'll make a short 'comfort' stop at Taunton Deane Services

and please bring a coffee back onto the coach

if you wish to enjoy it on the journey

 

   Exeter Old Docks

  

This genuinely unique cruise from the heart of Exeter sails through two working locks

and the Countess Weir Swing Bridge (stopping all Exeter road traffic while we

pass through!) then down the delightful River Exe

to the seaside town of Exmouth

  

 

You'll have time to get some lunch in Exeter before you board the boat

for the 2 hour cruise

The boat also serves teas and coffee and some light snacks

The coach will be waiting in Exmouth to bring you back to Bristol

 

    

We'll arrive back in Bristol at around 7.30pm

beaches our first stop is Sidmouth which is part

of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site

  

Soak up the atmosphere, relax in a deck chair or take a

stroll around the shops and cafes and enjoy the

seaside experience of times gone by

After lunch we'll move on to the second seaside town of Budleigh Salterton where you can stroll along the sea front or enjoy afternoon tea in one of the many cafes
