of Corfe and showing how Corfe castle used

to look in its heyday

Opposite the square is Clealls village shop which you might remember

from the the BBCs Mary Queen of Shops series

Mary Portas turned the failing shop into the pride of the

village and it is now a tourist attraction in its own right

featuring in Corfe's tourist information guide

There's the great sweep of Swansea Bay and then, a huddle of small houses

cascades down a hill sharply to those two islets with their Victorian pier

Why is Mumbles so intoxicating? It's not just the string of seafront pubs along the famous

Ludlow - August 2017

Ludlow

Saturday 19th August

Ludlow and its beautiful castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme

in south Shropshire, one of the most unspoiled parts of rural England

The town breathes history at every turn, but it's far too

lively to be a museum piece just yet

The town boasts over 500 listed buildings and is a long way

from the North South motorways, a claim almost unique

in the 21st century and one that makes it a very

special place retaining the rural charm

long ago lost to most towns

Ludlow has many 'claims to fame' including the most

Michelin star restuarants in any town outside of

London and one of the best towns to eat in

anywhere in the UK. Not for nothing did

John Betjeman describe Ludlow as

'The most perfect town in England'
